LONG-TERM RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY,ACCOUNTABILITY
& LIFE TRANSFORMATION
The Omega Project is a long-term, faith-based residential recovery program in McPherson, Kansas, serving men and women who desire freedom from addiction, alcoholism, destructive life patterns, and life-controlling challenges. For courts, jails, prisons, probation and parole offices, attorneys, and community agencies, The Omega Project offers a structured referral option for individuals who need more than short-term intervention.
The Omega Project provides a safe, accountable, Christ-centered community where residents can begin building a new way of life. The program is designed not only to help residents stop destructive behavior, but to help them experience deeper heart change, develop practical life skills, grow in responsibility, and prepare for healthy reentry into family, work, church, and community life.
WHY LONG-TERM RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT MATTERS
Many individuals involved in the court or correctional system have experienced years of addiction, trauma, broken trust, unstable relationships, unemployment, repeated relapse, legal consequences, and unhealthy coping patterns. While short-term treatment can provide an important beginning, many people need more time, structure, support, and accountability to establish lasting change.
The Omega Project recommends that residents plan on an 18-month commitment. This long-term approach gives residents time to separate from destructive influences, develop sober routines, address underlying issues, build healthy relationships, and practice responsibility in real-life situations. Rather than sending a person directly back into the same environment that contributed to addiction or criminal behavior, The Omega Project offers a structured bridge between incarceration, crisis, or treatment and independent living.
A STRUCTURE ENVIROMENT OF ACCOUNTABLILITY
The Omega Project is built around accountability, community, discipleship, and responsibility. Residents are expected to participate in classes, Bible study, church, service, employment preparation, and daily community life. They are also required to take responsibility for practical obligations such as rent, fines, child support, budgeting, employment, and personal conduct. This structure is especially valuable for courts and agencies because many residents need more than encouragement; they need a stable environment where new habits can be practiced consistently over time. The Omega Project provides that environment through clear expectations, supportive relationships, spiritual guidance, and daily opportunities to grow.
